You can find my book here. My Lake Tahoe wedding ceremonies are very reasonable. A simple lakefront ceremony is only $250. A basic package is only $350 and includes the bridal bouquet, groom's boutenniere, 24 photographs, and a toast to the newlyweds with a bottle of champagne or cider. Only one witness is necessary in Nevada and California. It is customary to pay the witness for his or her services; $20 is a typical remuneration. My son, Reed, is in great demand as a wedding guitarist. He plays Pachobel Cannon beautifully for the wedding party and bridal procession, and plays soft, lyrical instrumentals for the exit procession and reception's commencement. He charges only $50 per wedding, and will be happy to negotiate for the entire reception. To celebrate each couple's unique experience, I write a poem just for the couple; the gold-embossed parchment inscribed with their wedding poem is theirs to keep after the ceremony, free of charge. If the weather is terrible--extremely rare in Lake Tahoe, but it does happen--I can provide a beautiful indoor setting, free of charge. That alone is an enormous savings! Cheap, quick, no waiting, no lines, no notary necessary, no muss, and no fuss. Couples cannot believe the ease with which they get their license on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe!
